Survey reveals changes in district and school support A new survey highlights the shift in focus towards personalized support and the evolving nature of district and school culture in regard to professional development. An EdWeek Market Brief survey asked district and school leaders about the support they provide now, and how it will have changed five years from now, and many expect significant changes in the support they provide in the future. Teachers "prefer to learn at their own pace" through online professional development, but they also want to "chew on the information with other people who have gone through the same thing" in face-to-face training.
