Creating safer products is no easy task. Or is it? It all starts with supply chain transparency. Find out how you can identify problematic substances in your supply chain faster and see the full picture. With better visibility, you can phase out harmful substances proactively, before PFAS or other highly toxic chemicals enter your products. Consider joining us on August 13th for our upcoming webinar - link below. Hope to see you there! #chemicalmanagement #productsafety #sustainablechemistry
What if you knew from the start? End-product testing only tells you if #PFAS (and other substances of concern) are present – not where they’re coming from. Find problematic chemicals earlier - for safer products, for better #supplychaintransparency, for more proactive decision-making about the chemicals you use >> https://hubs.li/Q02JRwZH0 💻 In just one week: Tuesday 13 August, Join Enhesa Sustainable Chemistry experts Betsy Murry, Nina Janjetovic, and Mike Bjork live to see firsthand how our Supply Chain Connect offering saves you time and increases supplier engagement! Before you can phase out chemicals of concern or worry about alternatives, you need to first identify which chemicals going into your products and processes are problematic. With hashtag #ChemicalAssess, that identification can happen with a few clicks. Unfortunately, for the majority of companies they will identify more issues than they can tackle at once- they will need to prioritize. Luckily, Chemical Assess can help there as well. Learn how in our upcoming webinar with dynamic duo Betsy Murry and Mike Bjork

❗ Regulation is paralysing the industry – are innovations falling by the wayside? ❗ PFAS and how to formulate high-performance coatings without this class of substances is on everyone's lips. This is a major challenge in R&D laboratories and sometimes determines day-to-day business. There is no time left for innovation, research and the famous thinking outside the box to inspire new ideas. I have the impression that the regulations that have to be met have a firm grip on the coatings industry, because PFAS is only one of many issues. The online European Coatings Conference "Can & Coil Coatings", taking place on 18 September covers also the formulation of PFAS-free systems. 🔔 Secure your seat now: https://lnkd.in/eZXEWGjZ There are other classes of substances whose legislative requirements must be observed and fulfilled, e.g. biocides. In some coating systems, they are indispensable. In these systems, approved biocides are needed in the right dose. In other systems, alternatives are possible that must, of course, be tested before they are used. And don't forget that a functioning recipe has to be reformulated. The digital European Coatings Conference "Biocides and Alternatives" provides an overview. 🔔 Check out the programme now: https://lnkd.in/e6c6vjgE

Let’s look at the third reason companies partner with Enhesa Sustainable Chemistry. They want to make their business more sustainable by phasing out harmful chemicals. Some companies build a "no-go" chemicals or restricted substances list, for example. To do that, they need to assess the hazards of their products, and their chemicals' impact on people and the environment. Our enhanced version of the Global Harmonized System has been developed and refined over 15 years, with the support of a robust and experienced toxicology team. We aggregate and assess data from a wide range of global sources to provide comprehensive scoring for 23 endpoints and a hazard category for each chemical. This gives our customers a thorough starting point for identifying and phasing out the most problematic substances in their business. Thanks for continuing on this journey, and stay tuned for more.
