"Even though Poland has a unique history that goes back to the 10th century, it has been very thoughtful. Their independence was subsequently cut by bigger empires. (...) Eventually they got back their freedom. And from then on, Poland has been showing significant development in all fields. Like a fast train that is consistently fastening." "We can all agree that Poland’s growth has been based on the brainpower and hard work of the people. All those results happened because Poland took the right steps from the beginning. In the European integration process, they adopted Western institutions, rules, and social norms that are at the foundation of economic development. (...)" 🐦⬛ Cultural differences in business ↔️ what to expect in Poland? Fear of cultural differences is normal when a company expands into a new market. However, it is worth getting to know the business culture in a given country in advance to avoid misunderstandings or disappointments. How does business culture in Poland differ from that in Scandinavian countries? 🆚 Power distance. Poland values hierarchical structures, which are quite the opposite of decentralized power and informal relationships, highly appreciated in the North. 🆚 Femininity and masculinity. Poland leans towards a masculine society, focusing on competition, which may be in opposition to the Scandinavian quality of life and cooperation, embodying a more feminine culture. 🆚 Uncertainty avoidance. Poland prefers rigid rules and is resistant to innovation; Scandinavian societies take a more flexible approach, embracing improvisation and risk-taking. Fortunately, every cultural and business difference can be understood and accepted - with the help of an experienced advisor operating in the target market, this will not be difficult! #businessdevelopment #strategi #ledelse #sales

🌟 Appreciation Post 🌟 Today I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to my amazing client - Estonia Hub for the trust in my work and smooth cooperation throughout 4 years already! (wow, time flies!). It all actually started when Raphael Fassoni reached out to me back in 2020 to do a video about Innovation Diplomacy Program. In that video we showcased e-Estonia transformation and our country's success in order to foster connections between Brazil and Estonia, and engage global actors as well as startups from Brazilian innovation ecosystems in internationalization processes. As a result, this first project laid a big foundation for the future projects. Since then I cannot even recall how many more videos about the Estonia X Brazil partnership we have created together! ⭐ I am thankful to everyone in the Estonia Hub team. Working with you has always been fun and interesting, it gave me other connections like e-Governance Academy as well, so really thanks for that! I have actually learned a lot about Estonia's success during the enormous amount of governmental and tech visits. We have also visited Helsinki several times together, and found out that Finland is also a good example for Brazil and there are tight historical and cultural connections between Estonia and Finland. Thanks again for all the amazing time spent together and here's to many more achievements and future projects! 🥂 #Gratitude #ThankYou #ClientAppreciation #Partnership #SuccessTogether

My Affection for Sweden and Its Promise for Southeast Asia Today, I want to express my admiration for a country that holds a special place in my heart: Sweden. This remarkable nation is synonymous with innovation, vision, and the advancement of human rights on a global scale. Swedish companies often stand out for their commitment to employee rights and strong values, making them exemplary models in today’s business landscape. Having lived in Southeast Asia for over 15 years, I've come to realize the potential for meaningful exchanges between Sweden and countries in this region. My aspiration is to foster a partnership in neuroscience between Sweden and Malaysia. While Singapore already enjoys a close relationship with Sweden, I believe there is immense potential for further collaboration. My visit to Öland, a stunning island where natural beauty and rich history intertwine, was a source of great inspiration. It was there that I pondered how best to utilize my own knowledge and experiences. My son, who plans to return to Malaysia after completing his university education, has expressed a desire to contribute his skills and knowledge there. This conversation made me realize how many incredible individuals, regardless of age, can share their wealth of understanding and experience with Southeast Asia. Sweden stands out not only for its technological innovations but also for its exceptional leadership. Imagine the possibilities when two culturally rich regions come together to share resources and expertise. In a world that grows smaller with each passing day, such international collaborations seem not only possible but necessary. The intertwining of Swedish values with Southeast Asian potential could lead to incredible advancements in multiple fields, bridging continents and cultures in a quest for shared progress and understanding. #axiscommunication #scania #volvo #epiroc #atlascopco #sandvik #ktmb #usm #southeastasia #sweden #ud #fba #ikea #businesssweden #ericsson #wallenberg

In the last couple of weeks, I had the opportunity to engage with several companies from Austria to discuss business opportunities in Brazil. Maybe not everyone is fully aware, but Brazil and Austria share strong ties. The bond between the two nations was solidified with the marriage of Archduchess Leopoldina of Habsburg to Dom Pedro I of Brazil in 1817, which helped consolidate political connections and promote stability in South America against the backdrop of various European influences. During the second half of the 19th century, many Austrians migrated to Brazil, especially following the decline of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, with the majority making their homes in the southern region of the country. Today, Brazil stands as one of the largest overseas market for the Austrian economy, with over 60% of Austrian exports to South America destined for Brazil. In 2022, a scientific and technological cooperation agreement was signed to promote joint activities between research institutions in both countries. I’m excited about the increasing potential for business collaboration. Interested in exploring opportunities between Austria and Brazil? Let's connect! #Austria #Brazil #InternationalRelations #GlobalBusiness
