I took in my final Boston Red Sox game of 2024 last year on Saturday - a lackluster effort capping off a disappointing season in a series of depressing seasons. Despite all that 👎 , Fenway Park is THE stage for companies and industries looking to build their brand in Boston. Look at the Aura level seating - a cool ring, but not a #medicaldevice - or even the huge WHOOPS sign sitting directly under the iconic CITGO sign (I had to look it up, Fitness tech?) (Late add: Speaking of whoops - Aura is not Oura!) So where is #medtech? It's represented in the past.... ⚾ A decade ago COVIDIEN was plastered across the Green Monster. ⚾ A few years ago Boston Scientific had a prominent sign in deep center field. ⚾ Today, this Abiomed sign is all that's left representing the #medicaldevice industry. A great device and company, no QUESTION, but it's not even locally owned any longer. So what's up #Medtech? Should we have a higher profile at baseball's best ballpark. Could Insulet Corporation affix a massive image of an Omnipod on the Green Monster. Perhaps Medtronic wants to continue to highlight it's growing #surgicalrobotics presence in the Seaport? Might Boston Scientific make a return? DePuy Synthes? Hologic, Inc.? Olympus Corporation of the Americas? I'm open to suggestions, but give me something else to root for at Fenway Park!
Great question and one I have thought of too not only at Fenway but also other great medtech cities like SF or Mpls. A cool branded experience Fenway moment I saw end of 2022 season was an LL Bean branded tarp rolling out, under the LL Bean 3rd base banner ad, while Rihanna’s “Umbrella” was playing during a rain delay (following a Xander Bogaerts’ grand slam!)
Tom Salemi Whoop is really cool. I will ask a friend of mine who is in the business of professional sports branding of companies. It's a good question you raise.

2moAbsolutely need more MedTech supporting MLB marketing. We have a tiny marketing budget here Poba Medical but have Cactus League presence, soon to announce a minor league presence in NC with Poba Park. Just like product development the Big Boys are risk averse……Here we Come!
