I think we’ve all tried that in our career. I have several times and my best personal advice to you if you deal with a toxic work environment and if you work for a sociopath of a boss - get out of there. No, it’s not easy but it’s necessary. Because if you don’t take action quickly then before you know it you’ve spent years in a toxic place gambling with your mental health and your job safety. Waste of time, talent, potential, impact, opportunities and of what could’ve been a great time. 60% of the people wanting to quit their jobs end up never doing anything about it. So here is my question to you: “Are you the person who waits and tries to justify not doing anything about it? - Or will you actively do something about it?” Life is simply too short to feel that way and to not do what you think is great work and with great people. There is a shortcut though - utilize recruiters. Finding a new job is soooo much easier if you book a candidate meeting with a recruiter.
