As we join the conversations happening during Mental Health Awareness Month, it's crucial to consider the profound impact mental health issues have on individuals, families, and communities. As a community, we prioritize a supportive atmosphere where everyone can openly share their personal stories, acknowledging that our lives—and the lives of our team members—extend well beyond the confines of office hours. 🍃 We encourage everyone to practice empathy and kindness, not only during this month but throughout the entire year. Throughout May, we’ll be sharing some of the approaches the TourRadar team adopts toward achieving a healthy work-life balance and supporting one another's mental well-being. We'll look at how we move, connect, celebrate, and support all the while acknowledging that this is an ongoing conversation - one about developing sustainable, healthy habits and creating spaces where everyone can thrive. We’re eager to listen and learn from these discussions as we navigate this critical topic together. 🙏

🌍 Today is World Mental Health Day 🌍 Mental health is just as important as physical health yet it often goes overlooked in the craziness of daily life. Take today as a reminder for us all to pause, reflect and check in with ourselves and those around us. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAwareness

Mental health awareness week is also the week (unfortunately) where the most “wellbeing washing” goes on. If you haven’t heard of it, “wellbeing washing” refers to superficial gestures or token efforts made by organisations or individuals to appear supportive of mental health, without truly addressing the underlying issues. If you haven’t addressed or implemented systems to understand underlying issues, then many organisations this week will no doubt be doing more harm than good promoting “mental health” this week. Benchmarking your mental health climate, upskilling management, and upskilling employees on practical strategies to protect their mental health are good places to start. This was the best sketch i could think of/draw to illustrate my point today. Did I do any good?
