Rotating tires helps distribute wear more evenly across the tread. This is especially important for semi-trucks and feedlot vehicles because: -Uneven weight distribution: Semi-trucks don't always carry a perfectly balanced load, and feedlot vehicles often travel on uneven terrain. Rotation helps compensate for these imbalances. -Drive axle wear: The drive axles on semi-trucks and some feedlot equipment experience the most wear due to the power they transmit. Regular rotation helps spread that wear to other axles. Here's a general recommendation for rotation frequency: -Semi-trucks: Every 5,000 to 7,000 miles -Feedlot equipment: Consult your equipment manufacturer's recommendations, but every other oil change (around 250 hours) is a good starting point. Daf xg 530 rhd low deck. Since I did one for the #iveco I figured I should also do a small review of the DAF Trucks UK xg As I have mentioned before our fleet Transam Trucking Limited primarily consist of Left hand drive dafs. With a few Scania Group thrown in the mix as well. Iv always quite like the look of the xg and the #living #space provided inside. Some complain about the storage space been a bit small but I don’t travel with a lot so I find it more then adequate. This particular truck with 530bhp is more than perfect for our job. It pulls really well up hills once in the right mode and the range on the fuel tanks sure is a welcome #relief after my previous truck. The actually living space inside the truck is well thought out. This daf xg has both passenger and driver side swivel seats So when parked up you can spin around and be comfortable eating at the table . The cockpit area while driving is within easy reach and the ride is smooth and comfortable. There is air all around so when on uneven surfaces or getting onto the Eurotunnel or ferry you can raise the truck and this reducing the chance of damage as they sit low. This can also assist when trying to get a good photo as they do look sweet when lowered all the way. Feel free to add your thoughts below as a discussion is always good.
