Since 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟰, UCIMA has been supporting Italian companies in the sector and has made a decisive contribution to making Italian packaging a global benchmark. 𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗠𝗔𝟰𝟬 will actively involve companies in the sector through innovative initiatives aimed at telling the story, challenges, and successes that have characterized these 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Despite a challenging global economic environment in 2023, FERCAM has once again exceeded the billion euro revenue threshold. Among the year's highlights, the joint venture with DACHSER marks a significant step in strengthening our presence in the European logistics sector. The Distribution sector showed a 4.6% revenue growth, a result of quality service in a challenging market context. Simultaneously, we have expanded investments in sustainability, adopting alternative fuels to reduce CO2 emissions. The expansion of our core business was also significant, with the opening of a new branch in Kaunas, #Lithuania, focused on intermodal transportation. «This year has been one of consolidation for the Distribution and European Logistics sector, crowned by the joint venture agreement with Dachser. I had the privilege of meeting with the President of ACIMIT Marco Salvadè, Italy's prestigious association of textile machinery manufacturers. Our discussion opened the door to an exhilarating opportunity for synergy between ACIMIT and the Polish Textille Association, where I serve as Director. 🤝 Collaboration is on the Horizon: We are exploring collaborative ventures to create specialized training programs for Polish textile professionals. The company also introduced an environmentally-friendly drive and motor: the MV33 AC motor and MD630 AC drive that meet stringent European environmental requirements.
