My first journal article, Pedestrian Interaction with a Novel Urban Light Rail Vehicle: Implications for Multi-Modal Crash Compatibility Standards, has been published in the journal, Future Transportation, and currently features as a promoted story. This paper looks at the injury risk to pedestrians in a collision with the Coventry Very Light Rail (CVLR) vehicle, and also presents a case for considering the safety of all Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) in interactions with light-rail vehicles. This research was conducted whilst I was on the Graduate Development Programme in WMG, University of Warwick - many thanks to the Graduate Development team, who provided so much support over the last two years.
