I am pleased to be supporting Professors Becky Shipley and Ryo Torii in their search for a Lecturer in Data-driven Biomechanical Modelling to join our Biomechanical Engineering Group. You'll benefit from state-of-the-art research labs, advanced computational tools, and strong collaborations with clinicians, NHS hospitals, and the biomedical industry. In this role, you will: - Integrate conventional and data-driven methods, including statistical and machine learning techniques - Focus on clinical applications, enhancing our understanding of human biology and physiology - Collaborate with the UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering and biomedically-themed EPSRC/BBSRC CDTs Ideal candidates must have a PhD or EngD in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields and proven research excellence and expertise in computational modelling and data science. In addition, it is essential that you have a strong track record of publications, experience in securing research funding, supervising PhD students, excellent communication as well as collaborative skills.
