Big thanks to Nicole Ervin and the team at GE Appliances Lean/Ergo/Industrial Engineering for welcoming our IE380 Work Design students today. To fit everyone’s schedule, we split into four groups, and the GE team delivered their engaging presentation four times—a massive effort we truly appreciate! Our students were really impressed by how seriously GE Appliances takes Lean/Ergo/Industrial Engineering, showing it in everything they do! Their knowledge and professionalism really inspired our students. Also, thanks to all our IE380 students for their great energy today and to Yan Chen, our TA, for making the trip run so smoothly. Appreciate all the hard work! Special thanks to our department chair, Pratik Parikh, for his guidance in making this trip possible! We are so grateful for this opportunity and eagerly look forward to future collaborations! #ie_UofL #GEAppliances #CHSE #ergonomics #work_design
