UGANDA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATIONISTS ORGANIZATION’s Post

UECO NOVEMBER UPDATE TWO 2,157 TREES PLANTED SO FAR 28th November 2024 We're thrilled to share that our outreach efforts to local communities beyond schools are making an impact! Recently, on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, we donated tree seedlings, including mangoes, jackfruits, guavas, avocados, musizi, and Markhamia lutea, to Samuel at Kalabilwamu Village in Buikwe District, which were planted into his small garden. These trees will be of great importance, yielding fruits, sequestering carbon, improving air quality, and supporting local biodiversity. Our efforts aim to create forest gardens, enhance food security, promote a food tree system, and foster a deeper connection with nature. Furthermore, Samuel will receive guidance, resources, and support to help him care for the trees and watch them thrive. This initiative brings our total tree planting count to 2,157 so far! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters. Thank you all! Stay tuned for our next updates.

UGANDA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATIONISTS ORGANIZATION Mugogo Mark and Kisaamo Emmanuel Solomon I love the fact you’re working so hard to make a difference to people and planet. It’s inspiring for me to see this and it drives me to do more here. Co-Treetment will be in action this weekend preparing the ground for our planting session with customers. All being well 1,500 new silver birches will be planted. Together with our customers we will make a difference. #PlanetBeforeProfit
