Six Motor Valley Startups Awarded by MOST with Grants of €100,000 🚀 Six innovative startups, part of the Motor Valley Accelerator, received a grant of 100,000 euros each, programmed by the #MOSTMobilityCompetition, to develop cutting-edge solutions in the field of sustainable mobility. The awarded startups are: Acus, AS.CAR.I, HMDrive, Novac, Emsense AB and RECARBON.🚗 The MOST Mobility Competition is an event that focuses on promoting new ideas for transportation and mobility. Participants, including students, startups and researchers, are invited to create and present innovative projects to improve mobility. All startups presented their ideas to a panel of corporate professionals, who chose them for their innovation.💡 Motor Valley #Accelerator is a program dedicated to all startups that want to develop innovative projects for the automotive and mobility sector. The sixth round of our Circular Economy Accelerator program has just come to a successful close, but the seventh is just around the corner. The application period for startups looking to be part of batch 7 will open on June 24 and close on July 28. Once again, we will be looking for the most innovative and promising circular economy startups. The key topics for Batch 7 will also be announced on June 24. The two-month program will start at the end of September and will consist of two on-site phases in Germany (September 30 - October 13 and November 4 - 22). Yesterday I had the pleasure of bringing my experience to the Motor Valley Accelerator event participating in the panel "Bridging the Valley of Death: Scaling Startups from Pilot to Production” together with Alessio R. from Dallara and Michele Pirlo from OMR. On stage we discussed how maximizing ROI while minimizing risks and costs is a key goal for any company, and scouting for new startups is no exception. To achieve this goal, Agrati chose to outsource this activity to Motor Valley Accelerator, ensuring the identification of the most innovative startups that can respond to the requirements of the automotive market in an efficient way. Of course, acceleration is not easy either: when we identify a startup that meets these requirements we are faced with the challenge of scaling it up, from prototyping or lab-scale production to small or medium-scale series.
