University of Galway Innovation Office hosted the third national ‘Business Partners’ event showcasing twenty-two exciting needs-led innovations, with twelve from University of Galway. Innovative ideas were also presented by UCD, UCC, Tyndall and ATU. Investors, business partners, mentors and business advisors had the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research innovations and to meet with those driving the future of business and technology in Ireland. The intensive networking allowed researchers and startup entrepreneurs to engage with business leaders, mentors and industry experts to foster industry collaborations. The scope of innovative opportunities presented included areas such as medical technologies, pharmaceuticals, biotech, AI, photonics and biosensors.
