🚨 Announcing the first panel of the Platform for Electromobility’s Session at European EnerGreenDeal Conference! 🚨 We are excited to share details of Panel 1, part of the Platform’s session at the EnerGreenDeal Conference: 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝟭: 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗽 – 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 This panel will explore the critical role of CO₂ Standards for cars in enabling the competitive, efficient, and rapid growth of clean and renewable energy production in Europe. Stable and consistent regulatory frameworks are essential for these industries to thrive. We will highlight how direct electrification with renewable, clean, and affordable energy is the only viable pathway to decarbonize Europe while ensuring energy security, especially in uncertain political times. Synthetic fuels, in comparison, fail to offer the same reliability, are more costly, and significantly less energy-efficient. Electric vehicles (EVs) also provide added value by enhancing grid flexibility. 🎤 Speakers: Marija Dabrisiute, Senior Advisor on Electrification & Renewable Hydrogen, WindEurope Paul Wilczek, Head of Sustainability, Eurelectric The session will kick off with a 2-minute video to frame the discussion: 🎥 Watch the video: https://lnkd.in/e_Egym6f Our speakers will then react to the video, sharing their perspectives: 👉 Do they agree? 👉 What would they add or challenge? Event Details: 🗓 Date: 12 December 2024 ⏰ Time: 10:30 - 11:30 CET 📍 Location: Edmont Palace, Arenberg Room, Pl. du Petit Sablon 8, 1000 Brussels This panel is part of the Platform for Electromobility’s session, designed to highlight the transformative impact of electromobility legislation across Europe’s clean energy production. 📩 Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from industry leaders.
