We are currently seeking sponsors for capstone projects for the upcoming Spring 2025 semester. If you or someone in your network is interested in partnering with a talented team of senior students, please contact Dr. Faisal Aqlan for more information. Our capstone projects typically cover areas such as process improvement, quality control, facility layout, warehousing and order picking, simulation, ergonomics, 3D printing and advanced manufacturing, logistics, material flow analysis, production planning, scheduling, and optimization. Our IE seniors bring a diverse set of skills and problem-solving abilities, along with practical industry experience gained through three required cooperative internships. In mid-April, we will host a large, open-to-the-public capstone showcase on campus, featuring projects from all departments at the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering. This event provides an excellent opportunity to present your project and company, explore other innovative projects, and meet potential hires from our pool of soon-to-be graduates.
