Today, I got an opportunity to listen and meet 🤝 Mr. Pramod Bhasin, Founder, Genpact (also known as The Father of BPO Companies in India). He started Genpact as a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Company which is now a well known IT Organization with multiple services, and are assisting to global customers successfully. I can relate the energy, passion and dedication 🤩 Mr. Bhasin is having, which can easily attract 👌 any human being, and especially a learner like me. During the discussion, he shared his experience about the journey 🛣️ which was full of Rigorous 😰 Trust Creation when entering to either a New Market or a New Customer, and offering them to Outsource their Business Processes which could save a cost 💰 for them. He said - when he asked the Top-10 Industry Stalwarts in the late 1990 to Outsource Business Processes outside USA and assisting them with a fraction of cost from India... all 10 completely denied 👎 ❌ to get it executed successfully, but we all know where India and Genpact today 📈 are... which created a hub of IT/BPO Services to Genpact and India 🇮🇳 at large. 👉 Learning - We have to be Consistently, Dedicatedly along with Perseverance, Patience and Growth Mindset, have to continue in reaching to customer base. Genpact has announced a significant expansion in the role of its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Piyush Mehta. Effective immediately, Mehta will also assume the responsibilities of Country Manager for India, signalling the company’s deepening commitment to innovation, growth, and talent development in the region. The decision reflects Genpact’s steadfast dedication to India and its strategic shift towards becoming an AI-first organisation. In the previous year, Genpact established and expanded three new operational centres in Tier 3 cities across India, such as Madurai, Jodhpur, and Warangal. If you want something, then stop chasing it. Yes, you didn’t make a mistake reading that. I exactly said that. This is the one thing I learnt at least from my past 3 years of life including my PGDM in International Business from Institute Of Public Enterprise , Hyderabad and a year of working as a Supply Chain Consultant at Genpact During college, the companies I tried too hard for, didn’t turn up and the ones I gave least effort for, did. Now this does not mean you do not put in anything at all, but, just the right amount and then wait for the magic to happen. For some, this might seem like, I am living in my own little delusional world, but honestly speaking, this ALWAYS works. And so, if anyone younger, or someone aspiring to be here at Genpact or even enrol yourself for a PGDM, work hard, do the needful and then relax. While still on my vacation in Kerala and waiting to be back to Hyderabad this Sunday and jump into the rumbling energetic times coming ahead, I can't wait but write these lines which have been long pending. There's so much happening on the internet. While there are many talking about which stock to invest and which one not to, which food to eat and which one not to, which course to do and which one not to, which organization to work for and which one not to, which career path to choose and which one not to, please note that they are all voicing out their opinions. Most of the times, my right could be someone else's wrong and vice-versa. However, what's more important is to do enough research which spreads across reading books, watching people explain and learn from experiences but finally depend only on "Self Decision-Making". Do not cage yourself in or with someone else's opinions. Nobody in the word can stop your freedom in decision-making unless you put that option in their hands. Whatever be the result, be ready to either take the blame alone or share success with everyone. For everything I do at Infosys which gives me both personal & professional satisfaction at all times, I have seen and come across people who have both motivated me or questioned me but trust me, when the process is so streamlined even on a bumpy road, the journey seems to be a fruitful ride and pushes me to "Never say No" for any opportunity though it might look challenging. #IWOL

Recently, Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy reaffirmed his support for a 70-hour workweek. Taking things further, another corporate leader, Deepinder Goyal, Co-founder and CEO of Zomato, has advertised a Chief of Staff position where the candidate, instead of receiving a salary, will have to pay Rs 20 lakh for the first year. What's next? Will corporate leaders start asking customers to pay them just for considering a purchase, claiming to be industry leaders? TCS boss K Krithivasan is the lowest earner among all CEOs heading large Indian IT companies. Yep, the man claiming to lead the largest (6 lakh) AI-ready employees is earning less than his own Chief Operating Officer (COO). He made Rs 25.36 crore from basic salary, benefits, perquisites and allowances, and commission in 2023-24 while COO N G Subramaniam made Rs 26.1 crore. He’ll be retiring from TCS this month Out of which he received a commission of Rs 21 crore per TCS’ annual report. The compensation does not include the employee stock purchase scheme (ESPS). He holds around 11,232 stocks in the company. TCS has been training employees in AI skills to support clients' work in AI-integrated projects. CEO Krithivasan discussed the company's future during the TCS Blitz in Abu Dhabi and shared initiatives to revitalise strengths, address gaps and capture new business opportunities. In FY22-23, Infosys’ CEO Salil Parekh earned the most amongst IT company CEOs – at Rs 56 crore annual remuneration package. This was followed by the newly appointed Wipro CEO Srinivas Pallia, whose annual remuneration package is approximately Rs 50 crore. Despite leading a large AI-ready workforce, Krithivasan also warned BPO employees that AI might kill their jobs this year. “As we build on this momentum, I have no doubt that together we will unlock many new opportunities,” he said. According to Moneycontrol, TCS won't replace Subramaniam. His duties will be distributed among top leadership. CEO Krithivasan thanked him for his contributions and mentorship, wishing him the best for his future.
