Humanitarian actors responding to the situation should bolster services in Al Hol camp and areas of return, and improve coordination amongst each other. Donors must increase funding to support humanitarian actors in reintegration and durable solutions for returnees. Furthermore, states with nationals from other countries should improve efforts to provide individuals with the opportunity to voluntarily repatriate to their country of origin without delay.”

Gosh UNRWA, why haven't you asked Egypt to allow innocent Gazan civilians to temporarily cross the Egyptian border? If there were no innocent Gazan civilians in Rafah, there could be no innocent Gazan civilian casualties. International Humanitarian Law requires countries to allow innocent civilians to flee a combat area across the nearest non-combatant border. So why haven't you asked Egypt to allow innocent Gazan civilians to temporarily cross the Egyptian border? We know that the terrorists and oligarchs are allowed to cross the Egyptian border whenever they want, either through the tunnels, or with bribes. Why are the vulnerable required to stay in Gaza?

MMOB + seriously reflecting on my advocacy for Syrian refugees years ago ~ for their full settlement and integration into the societies they were forced to relocate to at the onset of the Syrian crisis! Germany etal; while having all Syrian expatriates/professionals relocating back to Syria might not be advisable &/ even feasible; I believe that we can work a win-win solution to this "return back to Syria call". I believe that Germany etal can partner with the new Syrian government to rebuild Syrian infrastructures (including educational & health infrastructures) and also facilitate regular outreaches by Syrian professionals to Syria going forward to enable them contribute their quotas to the rebuilding of their country while still benefiting their host countries/communities maximally. #GbolahanOlubowaleMSW #RebuildingBackBetter. #Road2UNSG or #Road2NuclearWWIII https://lnkd.in/gkqjbCQm
