“You should only cover flagship events with professionally shot videos” pladis Global have been using employee-generated video for their Make Happy, Be Happy event for the past 4 years. This year they created 8 videos from a single event. The cost - minimised, the impact - maximised. It’s time to stop limiting employee-generated content to internal campaigns or ones where there’s no budget for a professional crew. This is the new era of corporate storytelling and every brand team should be thinking employee-generated first. Brands like pladis are realising the benefits, don’t get left behind! 💨 #employeegenerated #employerbrand
Today on #MakeHappyBeHappyDay, we’re celebrating the impactful work our teams have done throughout the year – everything from fundraising and food bank drives to volunteering and driving charity partnerships. This day is a time to reflect on the difference we’ve made together and to share stories of joy, resilience and community support. Inspired by our founder Sabri Ülker’s belief that every child deserves happiness, our teams have been making a positive impact worldwide. Among this year’s highlights, we welcomed young ambassadors from the The Anne Frank Trust UK to our miü campus, a powerful experience that strengthened our commitment to inclusivity. We also proudly supported the premiere of Kids Like Us, a deeply moving film following eight children bravely facing cancer. Here’s to another year of making a difference!

Giving Tuesday is a day to focus on giving back and raising awareness for those in need. 🌟 Whether it's spreading kindness, helping a neighbor, supporting a cause, or sharing what we have with others, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to contribute. At the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund, we believe meaningful change happens through funding programs that address critical needs and uplift communities. By investing in sustainable and impactful initiatives, we create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive. The McGowan Fund focuses on Education, Human Services, and Healthcare, prioritizing programs that are sustainable, have measurable outcomes, and work to break cycles of poverty and suffering. Guided by these principles, we envision a future where challenges are met with innovative solutions and lives are transformed. Together, we can create lasting change and build stronger communities. International Day Of Charity 2024: History In 2012, the United Nations instituted the International Day of Charity as a way to recognize the global humanitarian efforts of organisations, choosing September 5th as the anniversary of Mother Teresa's passing. In addition to honouring her lifetime commitment to giving back, this day draws attention to the work done by numerous organisations throughout the world and invites the public to get involved by making donations, volunteering, and spreading awareness for important reasons. In 1950, Mother Teresa established the Missionaries of Charity. Members of this international community make vows of poverty, chastity, obedience, and a unique commitment to serve "the poorest of the poor." International Day Of Charity 2024: Ways To Celebrate Donate - If it's within your means, give money to those in need on this particular day. Engage - Contribute to local or global charitable organisations by organising your own fundraising events or by attending theirs. Raise Funds - To gather money, try straightforward fundraising concepts like bake sales, fun runs, or individual challenges like skydiving. Social Media - Use social media to help spread awareness about these important efforts.
Today, September 5th, 2024, is the International Day of Charity—a powerful reminder of how we can each be a beacon of hope and change. At St. Francis Children’s Center, we are dedicated to supporting children with special needs, helping them to learn, grow, and thrive. This day holds a special place in our hearts as we reflect on the incredible impact that generosity can have. If you’re considering making a donation, we hope you’ll think of us and the children we serve. Every gift, big or small, helps us provide the care and education that these remarkable kids deserve. Of course, if there’s another charity close to your heart, we encourage you to support them as well. Let’s embrace this day with compassion and a commitment to making a difference. Together, we can build a world where every child has the chance to shine. Give on our website at: sfcckids.org
