I think you'd have to be living under a rock not to understand that housing is an enormous issue for us in Australia currently. Think about people who are really, you know, crucial to our economy, but also crucial to the health and well-being of our community, unable to live in the places in which they work. And so I do think we have to think about housing and also how do we create housing solutions that meet the needs of the most vulnerable. I'm interested in the intersection. Between city planning and equity and I do think that infrastructure and the way in which we design place can promote connection, we wanna be making sure we're making our our spaces inclusive. I think in particular people with disability or you know, more vulnerable members of society, we want to make sure they can access places and come together. We want to make sure that we are designing our cities to meet the needs of all of those parts of our diverse community. I think we want to. Be strong leadership from government and so I would love for the Commonwealth be thinking about how do we connect people to the services and opportunities and to their family and loved ones. The other thing I would really love for the federal government to be thinking about is smaller infrastructure. So micro infrastructure community often know better than government what they need, particularly multicultural communities, First Nations communities and so letting go of a little bit of control and funding. Grant so that community can make decisions about small pieces of infrastructure that they need that will have a large impact. Coordination across different levels of government has always been a challenge in Australia and urban environments are impacted by all of them. And we need to acknowledge there is a role for all levels of government in working towards better outcomes for community living in urban areas. So thinking about the ways in which the public service senior bureaucrats can work together. To make sure all those levels of government are are really working towards the same thing. They're working with each other, not against each other.
