Honestly, it's shocking how unprofessional I used to be. Not the intentional unprofessional, the kind that puts your business at a disadvantage. Not understanding my packages was a big one. I really laugh 😃 at the old me. #businessgrowth #keepgoing #packages #photooftheday #photographypackages#mybusinessadventure #theoldme

Something we wish we knew sooner about headshots. Updating your headshot at least every 3 years is becoming the new standard for professionals. Here's why. #1 Stay Relevant An outdated headshot can signal to others that you may be outdated in other aspects of your career. A fresh, modern headshot ensures that your professional image remains as relevant as you are. #2 Authenticity Matters It might seem flattering to have a younger-looking headshot, but it can actually work against you. People appreciate authenticity and honesty. A headshot that accurately represents your current appearance builds trust and improves your relatability. #3 Experience = Credibility In the minds of clients and colleagues, age is often associated with experience and expertise. An up-to-date headshot that reflects your current age can convey your seasoned professionalism and reliability. P.S If you're on the fence, the best time to update your headshot is actually today! If you're thinking about it...it's time. This week only, we're offering a flash sale of $50 OFF all Standard and VIP Sessions. https://lnkd.in/g_BgweFy Code: FALL50 #entrepreneurs #denversmallbusiness #denverphotographer #personalbrand #photographer #growth #womeninbusiness #milehighbiz

I wish I knew this headshot tip sooner. So many people hesitate to update their headshot because they prefer how they looked when they were younger. I get it—I’ve been there too. Whenever I don’t like how I look in a photo, I think back to my youth, when I was "perfect" and remember that I didn’t love my appearance then either! It’s a common struggle in a world full of criticism and the liquify tool in photoshop. We often wish we could look like we did at some perfect moment, but the truth is, we probably didn’t appreciate our appearance even back then. So how does this relate to headshots? It’s tough being photographed because we tend to believe our worth is tied to perfect symmetry or being 20 pounds lighter. But here’s something special we embrace at Denver Headshot Co: Your headshot should reflect who you are—confident, accomplished, and creative—not defined by a double chin earned through hard work and raising four kids. That's right, I earned my double chin! The way my appearance has changed is reflective of grit and experience through the years. Looking older doesn’t make you less photogenic; it makes you more credible. Keeping your headshot updated shows your audience that you’re current and trustworthy. Those smile lines? They add depth and character to your photo. Embrace authenticity. Celebrate experience. Keep your headshot up to date, and start seeing yourself in photos for who you are and what you’ve achieved. P.S. We're offering a flash headshot sale this week. The best time to update your headshot is today! Head over to our site for booking info. #personalbrand #careergrowth #headshots #denversmallbusiness #headshotmindset

A moment of quiet connection—where a grandfather’s strength meets a child’s trust. There’s something profound in these embraces, a reminder of the bonds that shape us and the love that holds us steady. Photographing this felt like stepping into something timeless, where generations meet and the stories are written in the way they hold each other. This series celebrates family, connection, and the unspoken moments that mean everything. #CapeTownPhotographer #HealthcarePhotography #MedicalPhotography #LifestylePhotographer #FemalePhotographerSA #SouthAfricanPhotography #AuthenticStories #AdvertisingPhotography #CapeTownCreatives #GenerationalBond #PhotographyWithHeart #FamilyConnections #EmotiveVisuals
