For those who’ve been teaching for awhile, Hector’s World was such a great tool as younger children were gaining greater access to all things ‘online’ at home, and schools were developing ‘e-learning’ approaches. It’s great news to know this revamp is coming soon. We have too few tools for younger years in this space of educating around safety online. Thanks Netsafe New Zealand for the efforts to bring this back. Happy to recommend, and will be doing so. #onlinesafety #education #resources

What does this look like in practice? Empower your students by letting them help with: - Passing out papers: Assign a student to be the class helper and distribute materials. - Classroom setup: Let students arrange desks, chairs, and supplies. - Leading discussions: Encourage students to guide group discussions or present topics. - Cleaning up: Have students take responsibility for tidying up the classroom. - Problem-solving: Allow students to figure out solutions together before stepping in. Don’t do anything a kid can do. Give them ownership of their learning, and watch their confidence soar! #TeacherTips #ClassroomManagement #StudentOwnership #EmpowerStudents #StudentLeadership #ClassroomResponsibility #StudentEngagement #StudentConfidence #EducationEmpowerment #StudentSuccess
