Utah Inland Port Authority’s Post

Today, our Board approved an amendment to the Central Utah Agri-Park Project Area, expanding it from 35,000 acres to 42,820 acres. This milestone paves the way for enhanced logistics, renewable energy, and industrial growth across Juab County and the surrounding six-county region. The amendment incorporates three key zones: 🔹 Nortonville Zone: Expanded rail connectivity to boost transportation and trade. 🔹 Dog Valley Zone: Positioned for potential renewable energy projects. 🔹 Ash Grove Zone: Supports the growth of a cement plant, creating high-wage jobs and driving capital investment. “This amendment is a vital step in fostering sustainable economic growth across central Utah,” said Danny Stewart, Associate VP of Regional Project Area Development. We’re excited to continue building opportunities that benefit local businesses, residents, and industries. agripark.utah.gov #UtahAgriPark #EconomicDevelopment #Logistics #SustainableGrowth #RuralUtah
