Reducing our environmental footprint is a top priority at Busch-Hungária. 👣🔋 Therefore, we aim to cut our specific CO2 emissions by 40% by 2030 compared to 2019 levels through energy and production efficiency improvements. To reach our sustainability goals, we've launched a comprehensive sustainability energy strategy for the following years, built on three main pillars: 🔎🕵🏻 We're establishing a robust energy monitoring system through the development of an extensive Building Management System (BMS) and the implementation of an ISO 50001-based Energy Management System, in addition to our existing IATF Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management certifications. 🛠️🎯 We're increasing production efficiency by strengthening quality management, reducing scrap rates, and optimizing processes and systems. These improvements will significantly cut our electricity consumption, essential for our operations. 💡⚡ We're focusing on energy efficiency improvements by modernizing and, where possible, replacing district heating systems.
