#Hydrogen is poised to play a pivotal role in the clean energy transition, not only as a fuel but as a crucial solution for long-duration energy storage. Recently, key stakeholders from the hydrogen ecosystem gathered for a dynamic breakfast panel hosted by our new collaborative #SUSTAINH2.      The session, in coordination with the Texas Hydrogen Alliance and NeuVentus, emphasized the importance of underground hydrogen storage (#UHS) in enhancing grid resilience and balancing the supply and demand of renewable energy.      Moderated by Kristine Wiley (GTI Energy), panelists Shadi Salahshoor, Ph.D. (GTI Energy), Frank Wolak (Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA)), Shannon Angielski (Van Ness Feldman LLP), and Nydia Bryan Martinez, MBA (RMI) also discussed the challenges that lie ahead, including technological hurdles, policy uncertainty, and the need for substantial investment to scale #hydrogeninfrastructure.  Collaboration across industries and clear regulatory frameworks are critical to overcoming these barriers and unlocking hydrogen’s full potential.     Special thanks to Vinson & Elkins for providing their space to host the session!    🔍 Learn more about SUSTAIN H2: https://lnkd.in/gEd9FTb7
