Workshop: How to become a good peer reviewer Join me in my Workshop during the International Singapore Lipid Symposium (iSLS12, https://lnkd.in/eWxMdd2Z) on 5 March 2024, Tuesday, 1 pm. The #peerreview process is an indispensable tool in modern #scientific #communication. The peer review process ensures that communications are new, of high quality and #rigor, follow #standardization rules, contribute to #democratic exchange and exclude #plagiarism. Reviewers who participate in a peer review process may be interested in improving communication in #academia, increasing their visibility and improving their own professional #skills. Reviewers can be identified in various ways, e.g. through personal invitations or registration in special portals. Most large publishers rely heavily on honest, #fair and well-organized #reviewers. There are a number of rules about what should be included in a good review and what should be avoided. The essential elements will be discussed interactively. 🚨 New Publication on #E4 in collaboration with Fuji Pharma Co. Ltd., Estetra, QUALIblood and two leading medical centers in #Japan — Hamamatsu University School of Medicine and Tottori University Faculty of Medicine! We are excited to share our latest research on the impact of #Estetrol combined with #Drospirenone on blood coagulation and fibrinolysis in patients with endometriosis. This study provides valuable insights into the safety profile of E4-based treatments for managing #endometriosis. This multicenter study demonstrated that the combination of E4 and DRSP had a significantly lesser impact on coagulation and fibrinolysis compared to Ethinyl Estradiol-based treatments, highlighting a promising approach for safer therapeutic options. This study aims to bridge a critical gap in existing Aquilaria sinensis research, providing new insights into its unique chemical composition and examining its potential cytotoxic properties. Remarkably, our findings suggest that the essential oil harvested from Aquilaria sinensis from our site contained anti-cancer properties—a promising step forward. We hope that, with further studies, we can unlock its mechanism of action and fully understand its therapeutic potential. I participated in the 1st International Congress: Biotherapy & Sustainable Development, organized by the Faculty of Sciences Dhar El Mahraz in Fès (November 12-14, 2024), where I presented a poster on the valorization of plant resources and the evaluation of the biological properties of certain aromatic and medicinal plants. It was a great opportunity to connect with experts and deepen my knowledge in environmental pharmacology and plant valorization. 🌱 #Research 🌍 #SustainableDevelopment 🌿 #Phytotherapy

#lipidomics - As a recognized leader in the lipidomics field, BPGbio was very excited to have Michael Kiebish, Ph.D., our Vice President of Platform Sciences participate in the Gordon Research Conferences (Gordon International Lipidomics GRS and GRC conference entitled “Toward Functional Lipidomics: Structure Elucidation, Quantification, Data Integration and Clinical Translation” in Barga Italy this past week.   Michael sat on a panel of ‘Meet the Experts’ with top leaders of the field such as Xianlin Han (University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, United States) during the GRS meeting to guide future leaders on a successful career in lipidomics as well as a discussion Leader for a session on "Tracing Lipid Metabolism" with several world leaders in the field. Both Michael Kiebish, Ph.D. and Juan J.
