As a testament to its excellence and influence, the firm actively fosters strategic global partnerships, continuously setting benchmarks in quality and industry standards.Job SummaryThe Staff/Chief Scientist Ammonia Technologist is expected to initiate, propose, and execute research and development, debottlenecking/revamp, energy-saving, and sustainability improvement programs directed towards the improvement of processes and commercial technologies. They will lead in-house new process technology development, scale up, and implementations in commercial plants. Additionally, they will provide technology support to commercial plants for shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed. The ammonia technologist will also provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. Initially, they will support growth projects and be aware of the differences in available licensing technology from main licensors, allowing for the selection of the best technology based on these differences.Key Responsibilities:Provide directions and lead Green, Blue Ammonia development, technology, and project selection.Be aware of Decarbonization solutions in the industry and link them to the technology selection exercise.Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants.Develop Plant-wide Models in Aspen Plus or similar software and guide plant improvements/performance.Carry out energy and mass balance calculations, energy optimization/pinch studies, pump hydraulics calculations, heat exchanger design and calculations, various catalyst performance evaluations, feasibility studies, and revamp studies.Independently review engineering documents and steer technology selection and improvements.Provide technology support to commercial plants for shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed.Collaborate with external companies, startups, and universities and lead projects toward implementation in the plant.Provide insights, directions, and support to product development within the group.Actively contribute to the safety culture, coach young employees, an

Poste à pourvoir :TAS SUPERVISOR(H/F) 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞́𝐬 : System Operation and Monitoring: 1.System Operations: Operate and monitor the Terminal Automation System to ensure seamless terminal activities, including LPG receipt, storage, and dispatch. Supervise TAS-integrated processes like truck loading, tank gauging, and flow meter readings. 2.System Alerts and Notifications: Monitor system alerts and alarms for potential malfunctions or anomalies. Respond promptly to issues flagged by the system to minimize downtime. Data Management and Accuracy: 1.Data Entry and Validation: Enter operational data into the TAS and verify its accuracy. Ensure proper documentation of transactions, including truck dispatch, inventory levels, and flow readings. 2.Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate LPG stock levels using the TAS. Generate inventory and operational reports for management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: 1.First-Level Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic issues within the TAS, such as connectivity problems or data errors. Escalate complex technical issues to the TAS Coordinator or external vendors for resolution. 2.Preventive Maintenance Support: Assist in performing routine checks and maintenance of TAS hardware, such as flow meters, sensors, and gauges. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of the system. Training and User Support: 1.User Assistance: Provide support to terminal staff in using the TAS effectively. Assist in resolving user errors or misconceptions about TAS functionalities. 2.Training Contributions: Participate in training programs for terminal staff on TAS usage and operational procedures. Compliance and Reporting: 𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 :  Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the oil & gas, LPG, or industrial automation sector. Familiarity with TAS, SCADA, or similar control systems is an advantage. Certifications: Basic IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL) or relevant automation training. Knowledge / Skills Technical Expertise: Knowledge of terminal automation systems and their components, such as sensors, gauges, and flow meters. Familiarity with system configurations, software interfaces, and troubleshooting techniques. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze system data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
