The Cost Trajectory of the Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) The chart below shows the Annual Wellness Visit G0439 fee schedule over time, grouped by carrier and locality. With the 2025 Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor, the slight increase at the beginning of this year will decrease next year. Some observations from the chart: - The fees in some regions go up and down more than in others, most likely due to the differences in GPCI - The gaps between regions are surprisingly wide; I wonder if the rural areas are even severely disadvantaged by this fact. - The fees have been mostly flat except for the jump during the pandemic. #opendata #feeschedule #healthcareanalytics #healthcaredata #ruralhealth
