Dear Artist Not everything you must create must be done start-to-finish, end-to-end, or even wholly by you. Sometimes it’s enough to do just one part. If you don’t have the budget or makings to complete a pair of leggings with an overskirt, shoot for the skirt and buy the leggings. If you don’t have the envelopes to send a letter, make one with a page from a magazine and some sticky tape. Creation isn’t an Entire Book, a Musical Score, or A Feature Film. Creation is the moment in which something wants you to make it. Often, that something is smaller than you think. xx Leticia ================ Hi, I'm Leticia. Quote of the day According to Wikipedia, "Samuel Barclay Beckett was an Irish novelist, dramatist, short story writer, theatre director, poet, and literary translator. His literary and theatrical work features bleak, impersonal, and tragicomic experiences of life, often coupled with black comedy and nonsense." Try, try, try again is my take. It's the stuff between your ears that's stopping you. The fear of failure is an irrational one. It is thought that Thomas Edison failed 9,999 times to invent the lightbulb. When ask what drove him to carry on; why did he just not stop, his explanation was something along the lines of Edison discovering 9,999 ways on how an electric lightbulb would not work. In the words of Nike, "Just do it". Failure is simply part of the learning process. #HelpingYouFindaNESTtoCallHome #realestateteam #nestrealestategroup #nestgroup #housing #househunting #bcrealestate #exprealty #homeforsale #realestate #realtor #realtorlife #home #homesforsale #homeforsale #homesweethome #homeowners #homedesign #nest #expproud

I'm currently re-reading "The Hobbit." While I appreciate the work by Peter Jackson and company on the films, I also know that so much detail is left out (as must needs be) by cinema constraints. The absolute poetry in Tolkien's works is astounding, and lovely to read. Therefore, I have to give credit to the filmmaker for including some of it in song fashion within the films. What book(s) are you reading planning to read? #Tolkien #MistyMountains #literature #ReadersAreLeaders

Is it safe to assume that we have all heard of Shakespears’ “Romeo & Juliet”? From movies, to class readers ( shout out to 8-4-4 curriculum 🇰🇪) or from different narrations in our casual conversations. What comes to mind when you hear of Romeo & Juliet? 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀; “𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿” However, my love for timeless reads, on poetry drew me to a scene from the act, one that intriguingly challenges the very concept of a brand name. 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘀’ 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘆 "𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲. 𝗕𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁." Juliet is reflecting on the nature of names and how they do not alter the essential nature of what they represent, lamenting that Romeo's name, and his association with the family that is her family's enemy, is irrelevant to her love for him. While both romantics and cynics continue to reference this – for different reasons, here is a breakdown of how debatable this is through the lens of brand management. I have come across a couple of beautiful & educative pieces deducted from this classic, sharing links in the comments. Feel free to do the same ⬇️ #poetry #brandmanagement #creativewriting #storytelling
