I have enough experience with creating challenger brands to know this: If you don't have a big brand idea you'll never be consistent and therefore won't build the necessary credibility and continuity to be a true contender in your category. You also will struggle to wrangle all your communication agencies, because they'll all be rudderless, or worse come up with new "big ideas". And if you don't keep refreshing that big idea with new expressions (of the same idea) your brand will quickly become stale and tossed into the customer's mind bin of "forgettable". Do both, all the time, with the right media play and watch your brand become a proper contender. #LovableCommunication #AlternativeAgencyModel
