🎥 Wow, it's a one-two punch! Yesterday I also had the pleasure of chatting with Chris Grusz, Managing Director of Technology Partners for Amazon Web Services (AWS), at the AWS Marketplace Seller Conference in Bellevue! I said Chris is "an icon at AWS" and he certainly is that and lived up to it in our conversation. 💪 The energy at Sellers Conference has been incredible, and Chris described it perfectly as a “homecoming” for partners and teams who have built strong, long-term relationships over the years. If you missed it this year, make sure it's on your calendar for 2025! A few key takeaways from our conversation: 🔹 Tailored Content for Diverse Audiences: This is the 4th year for the AWS Marketplace Seller Conference and Chris highlighted how the event’s content has evolved over the years. This year sessions are designed for different audiences—from marketplace operators to co-sell experts, developers, and product managers. It's been a great way for partner leaders to connect with each other and get hands-on learning in person. 🔹 Technology Partnerships and ISV Growth: Chris talked about AWS’s commitment to helping ISVs grow through product-led initiatives and co-selling. AWS Marketplace is focused on enabling partners to discover new business opportunities, automate processes, and drive more revenue through private offers and streamlined transactions. 🔹 API-Driven Marketplace Innovation: Chris discussed the transformation of AWS Marketplace from a website into an API-driven platform that allows partners to operate at scale.
