Now more than ever, health and wellbeing support are front and centre for job seekers. 👥 True, the pay matters, but there's a growing trend where potential employees are weighing up the health perks just as heavily. A recent study suggests a shift in priorities - 34% of employers noticed a spike in candidates valuing wellbeing benefits. 📈 Surprisingly, this interest is edging out the lure of higher salaries. It's a sign of the times; people want to work for companies that give a nod to their overall quality of life. #WellbeingAtWork #EmployeeBenefits #Recruitment

Employers may be underestimating the effect and pressure that their staff members are currently experiencing, as well as how unsupported they feel. Although most workers believe their employer promotes their health and well-being, there are some notable disparities in pay and gender. https://bit.ly/3xqsexc #HR #employee #employers #wellbeing #healthbenefits #retention

https://lnkd.in/g2j4BBR4 Attractive salaries alone, are no longer enough to entice the right candidates, according to latest research findings. The significance of wellbeing benefits continues to grow and become the deciding factor for workers. Companies who provide focussed benefits on wellbeing tools and resources, are much better placed to recruit and retain staff, which in turn reduces their staff wastage costs.

Would You Trade Salary for Better Health Benefits? A new study has shown that one in three Gen Z and millennial Brits would accept a lower salary in exchange for superior health and wellness benefits at work. As a recruiter, I find this shift in priorities fascinating and crucial for employers to understand. In today's workplace, talent retention continues to be a major challenge for UK companies. With 27% of all British adults open to sacrificing pay for health benefits, it's clear that money isn't the only motivator. In fact, two-thirds of Brits express a desire for their workplace to prioritise health and wellness. Furthermore, nearly 59% of job seekers rate mental health services as a top priority when considering new employers. These statistics underscore the growing importance of holistic well-being in the workplace. With increasing absenteeism and a spike in mental health-related benefits claims, it's evident that companies need to adapt. Prioritising employee wellness not only enhances productivity but also builds a more engaged and loyal workforce. What are your thoughts on this shift in workplace values, and what price do you put on? 🔵 #WorkplaceWellbeing #Recruiting #EmployeeBenefits
