Let this video be your reminder that you are NOT stuck with the way you sound. You can change the way you speak. You can change your voice. Your voice is just a series of behaviors. And your behaviors can be changed. Don't be so attached to who you are in the present that you don't give the future version of you a chance.
The way this guy breaks down communication is next level👏
I agree! Here are three impactful ways to change how you speak for greater clarity, confidence, and connection: ➡️ Slow Down Your Pace: Speaking too quickly can make you appear nervous or make your message hard to follow. Practice pausing between thoughts to give yourself time to think and your audience time to absorb your words. This not only improves clarity but also conveys confidence. ➡️ Use Vocal Variety: Avoid speaking in a monotone by varying your pitch, tone, and volume. Emphasize key words or phrases to add energy and keep your listeners engaged. Vocal variety makes your delivery more dynamic and memorable. ➡️ Eliminate Filler Words: Words like “um,” “uh,” and “like” can weaken your message. Practice pausing instead of using fillers—it allows you to gather your thoughts while maintaining control of your speech. Recording yourself can help identify and reduce these habits over time.
"It's not being applauded when you arrive - for that is common - rather it's being missed when you leave." Baltasar Gracian - The essential question is: Is it pleasant to be in your company? We ask ourselves this question.. and we answer ourselves back... in the affirmative How can we come to know the truth? "People won't remember what you said......but they will remember how you made them feel.' Maya Angelou —
Your voice isn’t set in stone—it’s a behavior, and behaviors can be transformed. Speak as the future version of yourself. Because the person you’re becoming deserves to be heard loud and clear.
In my experience, the challenge for many people with limited vocal habits, is they're emotionally protecting them in some way. So although they might consciously want to speak clearer, sound more authoritative or slow down for example, doing so requires them to confront a part of themselves they're trying to unconsciously avoid.
Yes it is possible. Don’t be so attached & rigid to who you currently are and your series of habits and what those expect from you. You can change and be open to a different version of yourself. You have one time here as you, it’s yours to explore and live. No one else’s. It’s yours don’t give that away to anyone else.
My current habitual voice makes people who knew me before now wonder how I have been able to train my voice to be this good. This has given me a positive view of life; I can choose to change anything in my life if I put in the work.

2moWow, I have lost count of how many times I have watched this video and it is so true. The way I sound talking to my friends is different from the way I speak to my client. The switching amazed me but I learnt it without knowing it would be effective
