Three years ago, joining Travel Chapter (back when it was Original Cottages) I set a personal goal: Help the company win an award. Today, I'm thrilled to say I can tick that objective off the list! I'd love to say I played a huge role in this achievement, but honestly I didn't, and that's okay! The real reason we achieved this award is thanks to the incredible people here who go above and beyond to make sure work doesn't feel like WORK. These are the colleagues who: ☕ Offer you a coffee even though they don't drink it. 🏓 Lug a full size ping pong table to the top floor of the office because some idiot said it would be fun to have one (Sorry Steve!) 🎧 Take the time to hear how you're doing, even though they're having some extremely challenging events in their personal life. 🐣 Don a chicken costume every year to host an Easter bingo event in front the whole company. 💬 Publicly share stories about their vulnerabilities and challenges so others who might be in the same position know their not alone. 🚗 Drive a 12 hour round trip across the country just to see how their team in the other office was getting on. 🎢 Video call you whilst on holiday at Disneyworld so you got to experience it with them (And even brought you back a gift from Galaxy's Edge!) 🚀 Kept pushing you to be your best, recognising potential you might even miss in yourself. These aren't hypothetical situations – they're a glimpse into the everyday magic at Travel Chapter. Sure, competitive salaries and amazing benefits are fantastic (don't worry, we have those too!), but it's these Tiny Noticeable Things (TNT) that make me incredibly proud to represent our company to all those looking to join our adventure.
