The most interesting thing is that the client found the equipment and device that suited him on his own and contacted us directly! ㅤ A cement manufacturing plant from South Korea urgently needed a device for diagnosing power transformer OLTCs devices. After a long search and study of similar equipment, the choice was the PKR-2M. ㅤ Of course, there were some doubts due to ignorance of the brand, which was easily resolved in the format of an individual video conference, which turned into an order and delivery 🤩 ㅤ Main differences #PKR2M: 👉 Possibility of testing both resistor and reactor OLTC devices. 👉 The switchover oscillography enables to detect the actuation delay, non-simultaneity of in phase actuation and bouncing during switchover. 👉 Demountable or in-place diagnostic mode. 👉 OLTC non-demountable check (DRM method) enables to conduct express diagnostic of the OLTCs with current-limiting resistors without opening the tank. 👉 Touch display, autonomous power supply and special software for PC. ㅤ After a successful experience, the client became interested in other SKB EP equipment to bring it to the South Korean markets, it is possible that we will soon talk about new additions to the dealer family 😎 ㅤ #skbep #oltcanalyzer #electricalequipment #powertransformer #powerplant #switchgear

Following Olof’s svelt move, I will gladly volunteer HammerBlade manycore and Blackparrot to the open source benchmark for a hypothetical CAD tool floorplanning deathmatch between Google AI and the academic CAD community. But more seriously, I think such a deathmatch is unnecessary. Is the Google paper oversold? Yes. Did they do some interesting work? Yes. Is the CAD community holding Google to a higher bar than is typical for papers in their community? Yes. Has Google done amazing work (for example, the protein folding, chess, go and TPU work) in the past that may have set our expectations very high? Yes. Is this a fascinating and rare example of third party scientific replication actually being attempted ? Yes. Unfortunately, science is done at great personal and institution investment and cost and this replication experiment has escalated the stakes for the different parties. It’s time for the stellar researchers and engineers involved to move on to new projects and attain new greatness, and to let time be the blind judge of old ones, as it always is.

Achmmach Samine Scoping Study The 2024 Scoping Study incorporates the benefits of combining Achmmach with the nearby El Hammam processing facility owned by SAMINE, which is to be acquired by Atlantic Tin as announced on 30th May 2024. The Scoping Study demonstrates the integrated project to be a low-cost, long-life producer of clean and high-grade tin concentrate on the doorstep of Europe. Tin is a critical mineral needed for the world’s transition to clean energy and would benefit from the strong expected demand for Artificial-Intelligence-driven semiconductor applications. The 2024 Scoping Study validates the potential of Achmmach with a Base Case post-tax Net Present Value ("NPV") of US$307M and a post-tax Internal Rate of Return ("IRR") of 45%.
