I met Gill Scott FRSA in 2016 at the National Museum. She was humble and knowledgeable right from the start. In 2022, she became my boss, and I learned a lot from her tireless guidance and enthusiasm. Together, we led many successful projects, including our last project "Perfumes of the East" exhibition, which we completed in just seven months - a remarkable feat for an international exhibition. With Gill's guideline everything is possible. I wold like to summarize my experience with this wonderful leader: : ⭐️ No matter how satisfied you feel with your current skillset, there's always room for professional development. ⭐️ Be proactive in your career and take advantage of opportunities that come your way. ⭐️Guiding your employees with compassion and understanding can foster a productive and rewarding work environment. ⭐️Building strong working relationships starts with mutual respect. ⭐️It's important to listen attentively to your employees and understand their needs. ⭐️Always aim to be the best version of yourself, both personally and professionally. ⭐️Achieving your goals often requires hard work and persistence. Don't give up easily! Good luck with your new job at Misk Foundation , how lucky they are 💓

A while ago I had reached out to Kevin G. Libuit, thanking him for all the great work he and Prof Andrew Page have done with "The Bioinformatics Lab" podcast. The podcast was how I was introduced to PHA4GE and the Microbial Bioinformatics Hackathon, amongst many other useful resources and illuminating perspectives. Needless to say, it happens to be one of my favorite podcasts. So, to be invited as a guest on it to talk about my career journey is a huge honor and great pleasure; thank you Kevin, once again, for this incredible opportunity. I hope this podcast will be helpful to some of the early career professionals in the field of Bioinformatics, and if you have any questions or need any help/guidance from me, please feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn! #bioinformatics #thebioinformaticslab #podcast #earlycareer
