I worked on an influencer campaign once where one of the deliverables was to make a #TikTok video about a gambling brand. I learned the hard way that TikTok has specific rules as it relates to promoting gambling content on its platform (the content got flagged and was not able to be posted). #X and #Meta also have similar rules that need to be followed if brands or influencers want to advertise gambling products/services on those platforms. For example, some platforms require the advertiser to provide a copy of a gambling license to prove the activity is legal in the target jurisdiction.
