MoCRA is bringing a number of changes to how cosmetic brands will have to label their packaging. In a recent MoCRA webinar we participated in, the regulatory experts indicated that having your primary company website address, i.e. crunchi.com, on the packaging label, would not meet the new requirements for "adverse event reporting." Yet, when I've spoken to many of the CMs in the industry, no one has added anything different to their packaging for adverse event reporting. Granted, there are two other label options, with one being a phone number and the other being a full mailing address. However, in both of those cases, the regulatory agency suggested that the label had to say something specific such as "to report an adverse reaction to this product, call .... or mail us at... (your address)." What I am wondering is what, if anything, is anyone else seeing or planning on doing to meet these new requirements?
