🤖Will Jobs for Humans Still Exist? This week, I had the opportunity to attend an expo at the Kintex center in Seoul. Alongside a medical congress was the Robotics Expo, and what I saw left me both amazed and reflective. The advancements in robotics and automation were mind-blowing. These machines are now capable of performing tasks in nearly every sector— from healthcare and manufacturing to hospitality and even creative fields. It was a powerful reminder of how fast technology is evolving. But it also raises a crucial question: Will there still be jobs for humans? The capabilities of robots today are no longer limited to simple, repetitive tasks. They are diagnosing diseases, assisting in surgeries, cooking meals, even writing music! While this might spark concerns about job displacement, it’s also clear that humans will still have a crucial role to play. Innovation, creativity, and empathy are areas where robots still fall short. Additionally, as machines take over more routine work, new industries and opportunities will emerge— ones that we haven’t yet imagined. Rather than fearing the changes ahead, it’s time to think about how we can adapt, reskill, and partner with technology to create a future where both humans and robots thrive together.
