I cannot overstate what a transformative effect for the Blue Economy this funding will have for our region and beyond. As the Executive Director of TMA BlueTech™ I’m incredibly honored and proud to be a key collaborator in this groundbreaking initiative. This funding enables the creation of the StartBlue Ocean Enterprise Accelerator, a platform that will support ocean-based startups from across the nation, leveraging San Diego’s unparalleled assets. Startup Extreme has concluded for this time. The weather couldn't have been better, and the power of the wind provided good momentum for Simen's eco-friendly journey over the mountains from Finse to Hemsedal. Crossing the valley of death for climate tech innovations: That was the title of the panel discussion Nysnø's Simen Malmin participated in during this year's Startup Extreme. To achieve the climate targets by 2030 and move towards a zero-emission society by 2050, we need to bridge the gap between early innovation and commercial scaling of climate technology companies.
