💰 💰 Tipping 💰 💰 !!!!! We should tip based on the level of service. Some recent encounters: ⏩ We had dinner at a local restaurant and had an excellent waitress. My husband tipped her based on her performance. As we were leaving, she came running after us thinking we made a mistake on the bill. We told her it was not a mistake. She started crying and profusely thanked us. ⏩We took family out on a holiday with a party of 6 and the gratuity was automatically added to the bill. My husband added to the tip in appreciation of their hard work on a holiday. The manager came running out to the parking lot to explain the gratuity was already on the bill. We explained that the tip was correct. He shook our hands in appreciation for his staff. ⏩I was traveling on business and was about to pay the bill via the portable handheld device that you bring to the table. The default options for the tip were 7%, 5%, 3%. No wonder restaurants can't keep staff. What's happening in the world of tips? Are people no longer being fair to service staff? Has the world stopped tipping for good service? I'm also one that believes if someone underperforms, the tip should align accordingly. What's your take on this situation?

When it comes to getting the word out to as many people as possible, what matters most to us is that the enthusiasm is contagious. It's not just about saying, "It's recommended!" but rather, "I want you to know about this too." That's where our voucher system comes in. We want to expand this framework to bring joy and delight to everyone involved. https://wix.to/RBuw352 #newblogpost

This weekend, I witnessed a pitch gone wrong. I was at a local fair with my family, and a scout leader was selling raffle tickets. He kept shouting the same line over and over: “Raffle tickets, 25 kroner, support the scouts, win travel gift cards!” It wasn’t a bad offer. But nobody cared. Why? Because he was talking at people, not to people. That's why he was the only vendor with no customers. Here’s what I would've done differently: 1. Picked a victim from the crowd. 2. Asked them if they needed a holiday. 3. Then slowly segueing into pitching my raffle tickets. I would've mentioned how expensive holidays can be, but that I had these sweet gift cards on offer and that they'd support the local scouts at the same time. So here's how you can apply that to your copy: 1. Focus on one person at a time. 2. Lead with the benefit that’ll grab their attention. 3. Speak like you’re having a conversation, not giving a lecture. That's it for today -- happy Monday, ya'll.

It's time for another #FinancialTipTuesday! This week, we're talking about how to save money on spring break. ☀️ To help keep your wallet happy over spring break, here are 3 tips for saving money: 💰 Set a daily spending limit: This will help you ward off temptation from impulsively buying souvenirs. 💰 Think like a local: Avoid the more expensive, tourist-trap areas of your destination by dining and engaging in activities like a local. 💰 Consider traveling in a group: This means you can split the costs of transportation, accommodations, food, and more. We're wishing you happy and safe travels this spring break!

#Thoughtfulness In this photo, I have two gifts that have become indispensable to me. The first is my favorite water bottle, a thoughtful gift from CMA CGM during Customer Service Week hosted by Jean-Baptiste Longin ☺️ The second is a pair of earphones I received from my Secret Santa last Christmas . I didn’t realize how much I needed them until I started using them. Now, I can’t imagine leaving the house without them—they make my life so much easier! These gifts remind me of the importance of thoughtfulness. Simple gestures like gifting, words of encouragement, or offering hope might seem small, but they can have a lasting impact on someone’s life. It’s not just about the object or the words themselves, but the consideration behind them. When someone takes the time to think about what might bring you joy or make your day a little easier, it shows how much they care. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the thoughtfulness in our lives. It’s these small, considerate acts that often make the biggest difference. 🌟 #Thoughtfulness

15th anniversary and we decide to only pay half of the bill! That’s right! Naturally, we celebrated the best way we know how: with amazing food. We went to Boda for our anniversary dinner: • 2 snacks • 2 starters • 2 mains • 2 drinks • 1 dessert (because let’s be honest, I was already full but couldn’t resist 🤭) All of this, plus a stunning view… for just $56 each! How? We got a First Table voucher to get 50% off the bill (Not sponsored—yet! But hey, First Table, I’m ready when you are 😉). So here’s your reminder: You can enjoy life’s special moments without breaking the bank. How do you balance enjoying life’s moments while staying on track with your financial goals? #financialwellness
