💭Space as Connector💭 As we celebrate our S-P-A-C-E projects anniversary, I'm thrilled to share a new insight with you. We often talk about physical spaces as the heartbeat of a brand. In today's digital era, it's easy to underestimate the profound impact of a well-crafted environment. Yet, the right space can ignite collaboration, creativity, and community like nothing else. It's where individuals connect not just with each other, but also with the essence of the brand itself. In my previous post, I discussed how material choices can act as a connector within a space. Today, I want to highlight the importance of programming the interior. A programmable space adapts to the needs of its users and the activities that take place, fostering dynamic interactions and experiences. Take a look at the projects we created for Lynk & Co and Ace & Tate below to see how programmable spaces can create more engaging and versatile environments. #BrandExperience #InteriorDesign #WorkspaceDesign #RetailDesign #CollaborativeSpaces #CreativeSpaces #InnovativeDesign

The Sphere. Those who are familiar with the visionary work of US based Populous, have most likely seen and studied the uniqe mediaarchitectural piece of art located in the middle of Las Vegas. 👉 Those who have not can get a small glance of it here after my visit last evening, or you can read a wider description 👇 https://lnkd.in/dCAUTxfs 👏 It is true technology merged with smart architecural engineering, well suited for a city of light and digital experiences. Yet, if any critical notions, it has to be that there is no design and landscaping features that embrace people when waiting for showtime to happen. Neither on the inside or outside. 👉 The Sphere is though really something else. It was controversial way before it opened in 2023. «When the venue’s design was first unveiled, it was met with disbelief. Even with today’s technology, such a bold structure — the largest spherical structure in the world — didn’t seem possible.» 💸💸💸 It is a designed proof of what a great idea can achieve if belif is put behind - as a support to silence all negativity thrown its way - and of course, money. Originally estimated at $1.2 billion in 2019, the final construction cost ballooned to a staggering $2.3 billion, making it the most expensive entertainment venue ever built in Las Vegas. 🤔 Do we need architecture like this for the pure entertainment? Maybe not, but I argue for yes. The fusion between architecture and technology is not new, neither is its wider convergence with media and digital solutions, known as multimedia. However, topping out at 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, Sphere has become an icon for both design and entertainment. It pushes boundaries, and challenge conservative mindset. We can’t escape the future. ✍️ And in architecture, either it is for pure entertainment, business or housing; references like The Sphere will lead way towards new ideas and new way of thinking. Anyway. The evening inside The Sphere was magical, and definitely a nice break from the loud Las Vegas scenery, one-armed bandits, and frenzy atmosphere this city is known for. #architecture #urbandesign #technology #multimedia #engineering

Disruption is coming. It is inevitable. The world is going through a renaissance and new technology powered tools are changing the way we work, the way we create and the way we interact with the world. Disruptia is a future focussed festival of disruption - join us to find out about what could happen next and how we could shape it. Disruption can be defined as radical change to an existing industry or market due to technological innovation - do you remember when the LED arrived? In Spanish, the word for disruption is “ruptura” — see what we did there? :-) — and this event is one that goes way beyond lighting. How can the professional lighting community embrace this new era and use it to elevate the role of light and lighting design? This is a question we want we explore in london on 10.10.24. https://lnkd.in/eREGaZQF or use the link in bio... #disruptia #light #ai #architecture #design #renegades AYRTON, formalighting, LEDFlex Group , Artin Light, Into Lighting, Sacha Abizadeh, Paul Johnson, Daniel Green, Sharon Maghnagi, Ettore Lecchi, Luke Artingstall, Maya Gribby, Stuart Alexander, Pallavi Jain, Anthony Kerr, Michael Althaus, Moritz Waldemeyer, James Simpson, Christopher Bauder, Tapio Rosenius, Sarah Cox, Tom McLoughlin, Territory Studio, Frankie Boyle, Kai Diederichsen, Claude Dutson, Sharon Stammers, Martin Lupton, Magali Méndez, Alan Joseph Ramirez, PixMob, Jean-Olivier D., LightHouse Reps, Marine Tanguy, Ghislaine Boddington, Maria Vera van Embden Andres, Viviana Caro
