Workplace civility: https://lnkd.in/d6JzgP84 From this resource: The holiday season may be billed as the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s often a minefield of conflicts waiting to happen. Holidays are deeply personal, sparking joy and nostalgia for some while leaving others feeling excluded or stressed. With 44% of Millennials and nearly 50% of Gen Z employees identifying as part of underrepresented groups—and these two generations now making up over 50% of the workforce – inclusive holiday celebrations are no longer optional. The pressure to create events that unite instead of divide is real and overwhelming. You often find yourself balancing on a tightrope as you’re honoring diverse traditions, addressing complaints about “mandatory fun,” and diffusing tensions at holiday gatherings. As workplaces become more diverse, your celebrations should reflect that diversity. The solution lies in inclusivity. Create spaces where everyone feels seen, respected, and valued. Please make this message yours and share it with your own community of followers. #joyatwork #changemakers #thechangedecision

Dear linkedln family Today i am sharing my opinion with you all and its about women's public holidays and working environment. i dont understand why these coporate, hospitality and others organization celebrate these so call teej and womens day? what is the meaning behind such holidays? if they cant treat their female employees well. if they couldn't and can'tunderstand females problem, their emotions at work place. if they can't be empathetic? if they can't split a vibes of happiness at workplace. if they even can't uplift them up, if they can't even play a small role for their career growth? then what does the meaning behind celebrating teej and womens day? Does it has any value? On the name of teej and womens day, just providing varieties of food, providing gifts doesnt pretend the meaning of womens public holidays. Give respect to the women from buttom of heart, dont show your devil looks towards women. Dont make us feel that you used us for your benefit, Do give attention towards our emtions, cycle time and health. your small concerns toward womens highlights actual meaning of womens public holidays. Dont do show up for us that you do care for us? awww its hurt, well educated and experienced bosses are there even then there is a illusion of their personality, tag of so cool boss, understandable boss, fair boss, good looks, soft heart blaa blaa blaaa..but its just a illusion only. why cant they use their own brain? why cant they listen to their heart sometimes? why cant they become fair to each and everyone? why they just see the things what others show them and whisper into their ear? why cant they filter the things in their own way? where is work place flexbility? why they just see short refreshment lunch with colleagues? why cant they see their efficiency, hard work, honesty, loyalty, creativity towards their company's work. why they just try to see the loopholes? why cant they guide? why cant they do a proper communciation? where is humanity? why they humiliate for small flaut? why their policies and protocol only applied for innocent employees? its just because they are not their relatives or family member or from top level managers/bods/friends/politicians reference why biaseness? where is empathy???? Boss play crucial role to create a healthy work environment and healthy work enviromnent emerge positive energy/attitude towards work which has positive impact towards productivity of the company. #linkedin #linkedlinfamily #joblife LinkedIn

How do you approach holiday gifting—excited or overwhelmed? As professional women juggling careers, families, and personal lives, the Christmas season can often feel like another "to-do" list rather than a time of joy. One major source of holiday stress? Gifting. What if this year, we reimagined the way we give? Instead of chasing after “perfect” gifts, let’s focus on intentional, meaningful ones. Here’s how: ✅ Think Quality, Not Quantity: A heartfelt, thoughtful gift means more than a pile of generic items. ✅ Gift Experiences: Consider activities, subscriptions, or shared experiences that create lasting memories. ✅ Protect Your Time: Set boundaries. You don’t have to say “yes” to every secret Santa or holiday exchange. By gifting with intention, we create meaningful moments without sacrificing our energy or peace of mind. After all, a joyful giver is the best kind of giver. How do you simplify and bring meaning to your holiday gifting? I’d love to hear your thoughts! #WorkLifeBalance #IntentionalLiving #HolidaySeason #ProfessionalWomen #GiftingWithPurpose

7 Things That Could Disappear by 2050 🌍⏳ The world as we know it is undergoing rapid transformation, and by 2050, many familiar concepts and traditions could fade away. Cultural anthropologist and futurist Tristan Horx shares his insights into what might vanish in the coming decades and why. 1. Lavish Wedding Rituals 🎉 Weddings are set to become smaller and more intimate, with a greater focus on meaningful experiences rather than extravagant celebrations. Key Shift: More budget allocated to honeymoons than ceremonies. Urban Trends: Cities will see a decline in traditional wedding practices, while rural areas may preserve them longer. 2. Traditional Maternity Protections 🌞❤️ Inspired by Scandinavian models, family protections could replace classic maternity leave. Flexibility: Couples may decide who takes on family responsibilities, ensuring balanced workloads. Impact: Promotes gender equality and redefines parental roles. 3. Physical Voting 🗲✔️ Ballot boxes might become obsolete, replaced by digital voting systems. Digital Identity: Voters will securely log in to cast their votes. Efficiency: Particularly beneficial for countries like Switzerland, which holds frequent referendums. 4. Summer Vacations 🏖️❄️ The concept of long summer breaks, rooted in agricultural traditions, may be restructured. Flexible Breaks: School holidays spread evenly throughout the year. Modern Challenges: Parents’ inability to align work and extended family vacations. 5. Religious Public Holidays ⛪ Catholic holidays may lose significance, transitioning into secular days of rest. Cultural Shift: While holidays like Christmas will persist, religious connotations may diminish. Regional Variance: Countries like Switzerland already show reduced attachment to these traditions. 6. Fixed Work Hours ⏳📊 The rigid 9-to-5 workday could vanish as productivity becomes the primary focus. Performance-Based Models: Productivity tied to outcomes, not hours. Corporate Evolution: Service economies, like Switzerland, may lead the way in redefining workplace metrics. 7. Social Media Overuse 🕵️♂️📱 Social media could see a significant decline, akin to the stigmatization of smoking or excessive drinking. Youth Movement: Younger generations already express concerns about overexposure to digital platforms. Policy Changes: Some countries, like Australia, are considering age limits for social media use. Final Thought: The Road Ahead ✨ The future will bring profound changes to societal norms, family structures, and professional landscapes. As leaders, adapting to these shifts will be key to staying ahead. Which of these predictions resonates with you the most? Let’s shape the future together! 🚀🌐 👉 #FutureTrends #Innovation #Leadership #Vision2050
