The first step of creating your myCharity account: donate to what you want. We've had a lot of requests to support our overhead, so we've given our donors the ability to seperately support our overhead or cover their payment processing. We still uphold our transparency promise that 100% of donations to your causes will go to the field. However, you can just opt-in to make a separate donation to our overhead. If you donate to our overhead, we'll offer you the same reporting and tracking as we do in the field - you'll see the marketing campaigns you supported, the salary you helped pay for, and so on.

Fundraisers: don't make it harder for people to donate than is necessary. It's coming up to End of Financial Year, which means everyone has their tax appeals out. My feed today has been filled with marketers, fundraisers, and even Chairs and CEOs sharing posts about their organisation's campaign. The one common thing I'm seeing? Reposting organisation appeals without links in the repost. I'm having to scroll through beautiful text or gorgeously shot videos and photos, just to find the link to a donation page. I'm interested in these organisations, but it can take a while to find the CTA. Put the link right in your repost, up the top. I bet you'll get more clicks.

If your nonprofit ONLY has a logo, here's what you need instead... You need a cohesive branded experience across your entire organization. In order for people to donate and support your cause, they need to TRUST you, and that trust is built and earned through consistency. Simply placing your logo in the top left corner of your website or Google doc isn’t enough to build that recognition or trust. WE DID IT! 🎉 We donated all earnings from our assets to a charity! Background: 1 month ago we started an experiment here on LinkedIn. We sold invaluable assets directly from within our agency for 1€ so that we could donate the earnings to a charity. The experiment was meant to show us how many people would buy our learnings from making more than 32 Million from email marketing in 2023... for $1. Recently, more than 500 people requested our PopUp framework but only a small fraction of the people watched the content and only a handful of people used the learnings. Those who did use them saw amazing results and turned out to be the ones buying this next framework as well. The assets they got for $1 were a 40-minute video breaking down how we set up and test automations and our internal testing sheet. The experiment is over but you can still buy these incredible assets for $1 and help us donate while educating yourself.
