THE HEART OF MEDICINE Medicine is a noble profession that requires a deep sense of humanity and compassion, rather than just a task-oriented approach. During my time in the hospital as a student, I've observed that some doctors have lost sight of this fundamental principle, prioritizing efficiency over empathy and passion. This has led to a decline in the public's trust and respect for the medical field. To restore the integrity of our profession, we must rediscover our sense of purpose and responsibility to serve the vulnerable with love, care, and dedication.
