Happy Friday, everyone! At Brand Atlanta, we believe that ending the week on a high note is just as important as starting it right. Here’s how we ensure we finish the week strong: 1. Reflect on Achievements We take time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished each week. Celebrating our wins, big or small, helps us recognize our progress and stay motivated. 2. Tie Up Loose Ends Our team focuses on wrapping up outstanding tasks and projects. Completing these before the weekend helps us start the next week with a clean slate. 3. Plan for Next Week We set clear goals and priorities for the coming week. Having a plan in place reduces stress and gives us a head start on Monday. 4. Show Appreciation We value our colleagues and team members, regularly expressing gratitude for their hard work and collaboration. Appreciation fosters a positive work environment. At Brand Atlanta, finishing the week strong and preparing for the opportunities ahead is part of our culture. What’s one thing you’re proud of accomplishing this week? One year ago today, I joined Whisker, and it’s been a journey that has completely changed how I think about work. I’ve always believed work should be meaningful, but this past year has shown me that it can also be joyful, an idea that sounds crazy to a lot of people. As I reflect on what it means to evolve professionally, I realize it’s not about running to the next thing, running to the next promotion, or the next pay raise. That said, ping-pong tables and pizza parties once a quarter are not exactly effective at showing a company truly cares for its employees either. So what makes a company an ACTUALLY good workplace? At Whisker, I’ve had the privilege of working for a company that aligns with my passions—being part of a team that cares about pets as much as I do has been incredibly fulfilling. But it’s both the culture and the leadership here that really sets this place apart. My manager, Michael Bagozzi, doesn’t focus on giving me more and more work but genuinely asks how he can help me grow. Whether it was fully financing my trip to a technical SEO conference or simply trusting me to work remotely when I need it, I’ve felt consistently supported and empowered. Taking PTO also didn’t come with the usual stress of catching up afterward. I could truly unplug, knowing I was trusted to handle my responsibilities. Plus, I'm surrounded by incredibly smart people here, people who are kind, genuine, and amazingly hard-working. I'm particularly lucky to work with Brandt Gelman, Rachel Pavlik, and Lori Gardner to only name a few. Most importantly, I feel valued—not as another replaceable cog in the money-making machine, but as someone who makes a real impact and whose opinion is valued. It’s a testament to the culture Whisker has built. One year later, I’m proud to be part of a company that prioritizes people as much as results. If there’s one thing I’ve learned this past year, it’s that when you’re supported and trusted, there’s no limit to what you can achieve. Here’s to the first year—and the exciting opportunities ahead! #WorkAnniversary #WorkCulture #Whisker

"Why do we so often skip celebrating our wins?" Think about it. How often do you reach the end of the week, look back, and think, “I didn’t really accomplish much…” even though you’ve been non-stop? For many, acknowledging wins feels: Too small to matter: We think only the “big stuff” counts as real progress, so we brush off all the small, daily achievements that got us through the week. A little selfish: It can feel strange or even self-indulgent to pause and celebrate ourselves, especially for working moms juggling career, family, and everything in between. Unnecessary: There’s always something else to do, so taking time to recognize wins can seem like a luxury we just don’t have. But here’s the cost of not celebrating: constantly looking ahead without acknowledging what we’ve done leaves us feeling like we’re always behind. It’s a cycle that can drain our motivation and make us doubt our own progress. We start to feel like we’re falling short, even when we’re moving mountains. Now, let’s flip the script. What happens when we celebrate our wins? Energy and Motivation Soar: Recognizing your achievements—no matter how small—gives you a sense of pride and fuel to keep going. Small wins build momentum. Perspective Shifts: When you celebrate wins, you see the week for what it really is—evidence of resilience, effort, and progress, rather than a string of “incomplete tasks.” Less Burnout, More Fulfillment: Celebrating keeps you connected to why you do what you do and reminds you that you’re more than just your to-do list. This week, why not give yourself a break? Choose 3 things you’ve accomplished and take a moment to acknowledge them. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Even a small treat or quiet reflection can make a huge difference. What’s one win you’re celebrating this week? Drop it below—I’d love to cheer you on! #CelebrateYourWins #WorkingMoms #FinishStrong #MindsetMatters #Momentum

Who doesn’t love a good celebration?! 🥳 Taking time to celebrate team members makes a big difference in building a positive, motivating environment and stronger connections on the team. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive (you can save the parades for really special achievements!) - sometimes the simple gestures that mean the most. One simple idea: On the last Friday of each month, gather the team for a casual breakfast (🥐, 🍩, ☕!) where you recognize everyone who had a birthday 🎂, work anniversary 🎉, or reached a special milestone 🏅 that month. Take a few minutes to share a few words about each person’s contributions or fun memories from the month. From a quick team shoutout to a small office celebration, finding meaningful ways to show appreciation reminds everyone that they’re valued. 🌟 #EmployeeAppreciation #CelebrateSuccess #TeamCulture #WorkplaceWellbeing
