Had to share the recent Lean In #WomenInTheWorkPlace10 report which states 1 in 5 women as the 'only' for their gender and 2 in 5 women of colour as the 'only' for their race. And this is only a view of the state of corporate America. I can only imagine corporate Africa. Ladies Who Lead (LWL), a Mumbai-based groundbreaking platform dedicated to empowering women in leadership, has successfully secured $1 million in pre-series A funding. The investment round was led by Rainmatter by Zerodha, a socially responsible investment firm founded by Zerodha Co-founder & CEO Nithin Kamath. LWL was co-founded in 2021 by Aabha Bakaya and Aditya Ghosh, both former journalists.
