Euro ✅ Copa América ✅ Now, it’s time for the next generation 🔜 While some of the world’s best battled it out, our Right to Dream U16s were preparing for their debut journey at Gothia Cup 🇸🇪– the world's largest and most international youth football tournament. But this is about more than winning. We prioritize growth and empowerment. And Gothia offers a chance for these young talents to push their limits, embrace new experiences, and become the best versions of themselves. 💪 🧠 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 - 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿: As our coach, Benjamin Ajslev, puts it: "There are high expectations, but for me, it will always be about development. A growth mindset allows them to go into that state of being willing to learn.” 🌱 🤝 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀: This tournament isn't just about individual brilliance – it's about the power of the collective. It's a moment where our global community – players, coaches, staff, and fans from Ghana to Denmark to Egypt to the US and beyond – come together to support the next gen. 🏅🇩🇪 The German national team in Football is a remarkable example of successful integration these days. Recently, my children asked me: “Why is it always such a big deal what skin color and nationality the players have? Aren’t they all German if they play for the national team?” This question made me reflect. Our national team consists of talented players from diverse backgrounds, and they represent our country at the highest level together. It’s time we see the diversity that enriches our society as something natural and focus on what unites us instead of what sets us apart. Let’s be proud of our team – a team that stands for unity, diversity, and mutual respect. In the end, only one thing matters: the joint effort for success and the joy of the game. This message resonates beyond just football and beyond just Germany. Whether it’s the French rugby team, the American basketball team, or the Brazilian volleyball team – sports teams around the world embody the strength of diversity. They show us that regardless of our differences, we can come together to achieve great things. #Integration #Diversity #NationalTeam #Unity #Respect #teamsports

Kernow FA: The hunger remains the same. Chagos Islands Set for Historic Return Match. The beautiful game is returning from the Chagos Islands on July 21st, 2024, as the island nation prepares for a historic rematch against Kernow FA. This fixture holds immense significance for the Chagos team, who are still recovering from a crushing defeat in their last encounter in 2019. The tides have turned for Chagos football. The team has transitioned from a diaspora-based outfit to a fully fledged national representative side, granting them eligibility to compete in FIFA-sanctioned tournaments. This development paves the way for exciting possibilities, including the inaugural Celtic Nations Cup. With Kernow FA maintaining their status as an international representative team, the success of this match could spark the creation of a coveted Celtic Nations Cup, featuring teams from Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, and Brittany. This tournament would be a major boost for Celtic football, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition. The potential impact extends beyond the pitch. A strong showing by Cornwall could pave the way for Chagos’s inclusion in the Commonwealth Games, marking a significant milestone for the island’s sporting aspirations. https://lnkd.in/eVVCK2wM

FAN ENTERTAINMENT One thing to learn about fan and supporter commitment...LET THEM BE. It is not your job to direct what type of fan your athletes will build. Over the December holidays i've watched netball, rugby, football and tennis tournaments; i've watched school boy rugby and one thing i've always noticed is...THERE IS ALWAYS A FAN IN THE STANDS. Fans can be crazy with alcohol and music. Netball stadiums always have a screaming supporter...Football and Rugby have a fan holding alcohol. Thus, to rebuild South African football support...WE NEED MORE COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS. We need to stop making superficial promises and start speaking to supporters more on their level. They love sport...They love music and alcohol...They can't afford expensive tickets. Lets give them SUPPORTER FOOTBALL and not too much TV FOOTBALL. My wish for 2025...more fans in sport stadiums.

Championing the Underdogs: The Impact of CONIFA on Global Football CONIFA is redefining the landscape of international football by empowering non-member associations worldwide, offering a platform for teams often overlooked by traditional frameworks like FIFA. This organization champions the cause of associations from diverse regions such as Kurdistan, Tibet, Northern Cyprus, Biafra, and Western Sahara, facilitating not just participation in global competitions but also a celebration of their unique cultural identities. These teams, representing the spirit and passion of their communities, are gearing up to showcase their talents at the upcoming World Cups hosted in Kurdistan and Norway. These events are not just football tournaments; they are vibrant exhibitions of diversity, resilience, and the unifying power of sports. CONIFA's efforts go beyond organizing competitions; they strive to reach a global audience, spotlighting the stories and struggles of its members. The goal is to provide these teams with the opportunity to play on an international stage, where they can represent their people and tell their stories through the beautiful game. This is crucial, especially for associations that face financial and logistical challenges. Join us in supporting these underrepresented teams as they take to the field this summer. Witness the passion, the competition, and the rich tapestry of cultures that football, beyond FIFA, brings together. Let's celebrate the power of sport to bridge divides and empower communities. #CONIFA #FootballBeyondFIFA #WorldCup2021 #UnderrepresentedTeams #EmpoweringAssociations #FootballPassion #GlobalFootball #NonProfitOrganization #InclusiveSports #ShowcasingTalent
