Where are you looking for your next hire? Is the perimeter you've set yourself excluding potential contributors from benefiting your company's development? It's a tough question, but one worth asking. As Dillon Cane from Two Blues Solar explains, looking outside the renewable energy sector for talent has actually increased the level of diversity and creativity in the company's decision making process. #lookoutside #talent #renewablesjobs

📢 Exciting News for Renewable Energy! 🌍 This week, the UK government announced a £1 billion investment to supercharge the renewable energy sector. 🚀 This budget aims to boost the growth of wind, solar, and tidal energy projects across the country. It's a commendable step towards achieving our 2050 net-zero targets. From my experience in engineering recruitment, I see this as a golden opportunity for skilled professionals. The increased funding means more projects, which translates to a higher demand for talented welders, fabricators, and engineers. At Red Chilli Recruitment, we're preparing to match the best talent with these emerging opportunities. What are your thoughts on this new investment? Do you think it will significantly impact our renewable energy goals? Share your thoughts, or let's discuss how this might affect job opportunities. 🔧📈🌱 #RenewableEnergy #GreenJobs #UKBudget

With the government setting ambitious targets, the renewable energy sector is experiencing a surge in hiring. Companies like Sterlite Power are seeing a 20-30% rise in demand for skilled professionals this year. From solar engineers to wind turbine technicians and project managers, the need for talent spans both technical and business roles such as analysts and consultants. This boom has led to consistent hiring growth, reaching 19% over the past six months. However, the industry faces challenges with talent supply and competitiveness, creating a significant opportunity for the recruitment industry. By starting your own recruitment business with Antal International, you can help bridge this talent gap and support the growth of the renewable energy sector. As we draw a close to the first quarter of this year, many of the hiring managers and Solar OEMs I speak with have indicated a "pause" or a "slow down" in hiring until the summer.🤔 It seems that our sector probably didn't anticipate as a slow start but are very hopeful for the full inventory and stock across the industry to ease as we move into Q2- opening more opportunities! 🤗 In general though Solar PV is still on a very positive trajectory... with job numbers expected to double in the next five years! 🚀😲 According to SolarPower Europe, the EU's success in solar energy is becoming increasingly evident. From 2021 to 2022 alone, job opportunities in the sector surged by 39%! 🤩🙌 In 2022, a new milestone was reached with a record 40.2 GW of solar capacity installed in the EU,🌞🌱 resulting in nearly 650,000 jobs within the industry! Projections indicate that by 2027, the installed capacity will reach 97.8 GW, potentially creating over 1.2 million jobs...! 💡📈 These statistics underscore the EU's commitment to ambitious climate targets for 2030 and 2050, providing a clear roadmap for achieving these goals. 💚🤝 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/er3fxfjR

A lot of companies like to hire friends and family, instead of hiring qualified candidates. Especially in the Renewable energy field I just want to live out my dream in the solar industry. I have a passion for solar and I would like to see the investors see residual income from projects getting complete. I noticed the more that you know people envy you and don’t want to see you make as a experience person because you know more than the people that’s running the show. They are more worried about getting a experience person off of the project than getting the job done and saving money. Companies rather have somebody in charge that don’t know anything about the solar industry, put them in charge over a group of experience people that’s been doing it for years . I also know it don’t take a lot of credentials to run a solar site and if a company do want you to have credentials, they can help you get them within house if they really care. This goes out to all the Solar Company if you want good workers, pay the price and be fair to your employees make sure if those people help your company get off the ground you give them a good position within the company. Solar company have been throwing qualified employees away kicking them out the door 🚪 Solar company are losing lots of contracts and money because of poor choices they are making.
