Self-care sessions should always aim to have these outcomes in my opinion. There is no point trying to help people reflect on their self-care if what you do is almost create a sense of shame or inability to get the goal they want. I always aim to meet people where they are and engage with them to understand how they can think of their one next step, that 1% adjustment. Small goals, achievable, and flexible with their energy & needs.
